Review of Time Indefinite (1993) by Raul B — 27 Mar 2008
His most famous film may be Sherman's March, but for me Time Indefinite is definitely Ross McElwee's masterpiece--a beautiful, absorbing, personal and profound reflection on family, mortality and the cycles of life.
Anyone who thinks that a documentary with a point of view or where the filmmaker puts himself in the film is NOT a documentary (which you most often hear these days) should watch Ross McElwee's films.
