Review of Time Bandits (1981) by Joey D — 22 Feb 2008
As far as kid movies go, this is by far one of the craziest. As for Terry Gilliam movies, well, it's still flippin' crazy. The cast is outstanding, the story's messed up, and the Supreme Being is shown as being a bit of a bitter, angry old man with a sense of irony and more pride than any person should have.
But, the icing on the cake: the main characters consist of a little boy and, wait for it, midgets. It's an awesome movie totally worth viewing more than once. It totally puts "The Princess Bride" in its place.
It is amazing.
