I watched this as a kid and remember it being a lot more entertaining. I really don't know what the appeal was. Maybe it was because it starred little people? Maybe it was seeing the same people going through different time periods.
Whatever it was, it's not a very good movie now. Not even a little bit. The only thing I remotely liked seeing was the "epic" gathering of everyone to fight evil. Even the ending was stupid.
