Review of Time After Time (2011) by Karen K — 28 Sep 2007
This is probably best left to either Malcolm McDowell fans, or Jack the Ripper completionists. It starts off with a somewhat promising, although cheesy premise, (H. G. Wells chasing Jack the Ripper through San Francisco in 1979) and then sinks itself by, for the most part, forgetting about the actual premise.
Although it's somewhat interesting to see McDowell playing the hero for once, his performance is disappointingly flat. Watch it for Malcolm McDowell, but be sure to have some of this other work on hand to remind yourself how good he actually is.
