Review of Time After Time (2011) by James J — 22 May 2010
Dumb but entertaining time travel movie about HG Wells tracking down Jack the Ripper in 70's San Francisco. It's pretty mediocre overall, but one aspect sets it apart: Malcolm McDowell as HG Wells.
It's a fantastically low-key performance from an actor known for chewing up the scenery. For that, they brought in the inimitable David Warner.
