Review of Time After Time (2011) by Alexander C — 28 Nov 2012
David Warner is not the most compelling actor, as he seems to play more or less the same guy in many of his flicks, and in this case, the same rings true. McDowell isn't as disturbing as he is in others, so I guess that balances things out.
This isn't a serious movie, and that works well for it. Time travel still remains one of those pipe dreams for me, so I have a certain affinity for stories that center around the concept. It's a nice little distraction and I'm quite pleased that the female lead empowers herself to make the first moves.
This is a nice little enjoyable tale.
