Review of Time After Time (1979) by Jon C — 02 Jul 2016
Made Will watch this after watching the Time Machine. It's a very clever idea, and very well done. I had forgotten how much it's a romance and a social commentary. The main actors do an excellent job. I particularly love the scene where Jack the Ripper comes back to the bank after Mary Steenburgen knows he's the killer. The way her face goes slack with fear is fantastic.
The views of San Francisco were great, and Will recognized the parts of SF we visited last year (Lombard St, the Marina, Palace of Fine Arts).
