Review of Timber Falls (2007) by Ian P — 02 May 2010
Opening with a cheesy murder, I knew this was going to be a piece of trash. I read numerous negative reviews of this film, but I love isolated horror films, so I thought I would still check this out. After we are introduced to the main characters and the story starts to get going, I thought this might be a pretty good film after all.
WRONG! The religious-obsessed murderers were more annoying than scary, and these are some of the weakest and stupidest characters known to cinema. Overall, TIMBER FALLS is a good-looking film that simply just isn't original or super bloody.
Maybe the director can go into documentary filmmaking instead.
