Review of Tillie's Punctured Romance (1928) by Josh C — 15 Apr 2009
Neither a good Chaplin nor a good Keystone Kop film. It is far too predictable and the plot could be in a 20 minute film, not a feature. Stick to Mutual and post-Mutual films for Chaplin. This just does not do his talent's justice.
It is interesting to see the eveolution of both the Kops and Chaplin, but you can do that by watching a part of this film and not the entire 75 minutes.
