Review of 'Til There Was You (1997) by Nette . — 17 Aug 2004
?Til There Was You (1997) Jeanne Tripplehorn, Dylan McDermott, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston, Craig Bierko, Steve Antin, Nina Foch, Patrick Malahide, Karen Allen, D: Scott Winant. A lonely ghostwriter and an architect cross each other?s paths for twenty years while she writes an autobiography for the former, spoiled TV sitcom star that he?s designing a condominium for.
And once the man and woman finally do meet, we don?t care because it?s the very end of the movie. Overlong tease of a romantic-comedy takes too long to get where it?s going and has nothing new or honest to say about relationships.
Film belongs to Parker as the former TV sitcom star, but Tripplehorn must have practiced for a stunt movie for all her scenes in the restaurant! Running Time: 114 minutes and rated PG-13 for some language and sexual references.
