A brilliant and gritty look at American troops training for Nam. Farrells first Hollywood performence is a masterclass in acting. Schumacher makes one of the best films of his career by going small, rescuing it from the critical failure of the over blown Batman and Robin.
A must see for all as its not just a war genre picture.
