Review of Tigerland (2000) by Daniel C — 06 Jan 2008
A gripping drama with strong performances from the cast.
Colin Farrell is excellent as a Texan college drop out and rebel trying to get out of his service to Vietnam and yet feeling torn between doing right by his fellow soldiers and his own escape.
The camera works in a documentary style to give it a gritty feel and unlike some war films, this has just a 100 mins running time, which was just right.
