This was a good war movie. They never leave American soil in this film but it still reflects the times during the Vietnam war. Colin Farrell stars in this movie as the insubordinate private during training.
His character tries everything to make life hell for his commanding officers. But in the end they try and mold him into a perfect soldier. Colin Farrell is excellent in this. This is his first big hollywood movie.
But the film is sort of unknown. If you like movies about the Vietnam war then give it a check out. Worth a watch.
