Review of Tiger Raid (2016) by Niamh D — 11 Jul 2016

Seen Tiger Raid at the Galway Film Fleadh and was very impressed. Not only is it an edge-of-your-seat suspense drama but the dialogue between the characters is clever enough to allow for moments of truly witty humour that cuts through the tension.

With such well-developed characters it was easy to get sucked into the plot and I really enjoyed the colloquial banter between two Irish lads in the middle of a war zone. The stunning scenes created by the director of the desert landscape give the movie a beauty that both juxtaposes and complements the raw griminess of the mission.

A must see for fans of action movies, dramas or comedies that appreciate intelligent screenplays and artistic camera work.
