Review of Tideland (2005) by Michael H — 05 Aug 2008
This film tries to walk a line between surrealism and the dark realities of life and for the most part, it doesn't work. Its just too silly, too over the top. Perhaps Gilliam needs to learn, especially with his later films, that you can say more with a whisper than a scream when making films.
