Tick, tick...BOOM is a fantastic directorial debut for Lin Manuel Miranda. Super impressed with how well directed this film is. He feels like a seasoned veteran with the camera placements, pacing, and smart editing decisions on display.
Aside from that, this is just a really powerful and human story that I really connected with. I haven't ever listened to Rent, nor am I the biggest musical theatre fan, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this.
Andrew Garfield is phenomenal and continues to prove himself as one of the best actors working today.
