Review of THX 1138 (1971) by Ian G — 16 Feb 2008
George Lucas' first feature film. This dystopian nightmare was interesting and experimental in its day, and still strikes us as odd in many ways. The emphasis is on the techniques rather than the plot and dialogue, which leaves a slightly hollow feel.
Some interesting Star-Wars precursors and sound techniques, but overall a bit dated and flat.
