You gotta suspend normal film watching habits with this. Its very sparce, little dialogue but lots of imagery thats very important to the over-arching point. They pray to the god of commerce. They take pills and watch violent tv all day.
They preform jobs to stressful to do sober. And all form of law enforcement is based on economic utility as opposed to moral code. This all might sound familiar.
