A dystopia where people are monitored, feelings are shared to a computer with automated responses, sexuality is strictly prohibited by law, and Donald Pleasence follows Robert Duvall around because he wants to be his roommate.
Welcome to pre-Star Wars George Lucas. While it does borrow from other dystopian tales, this stands out as a wonderfully carried out drama with great actors. A very trippy ride into the future.
