The Director's Cut has some nice surprises in it. I love the sound design in this film (Many other people do as well, as evidenced by the many voice and sound samples that have been taken from this film for music recording purposes.
). Despite it's somewhat dated feel, it's one of the best Dystopia films ever made, IMHO.
