Review of THX 1138 (1971) by Kasper K — 02 Jan 2009
This film is decent at best, but the themes that are presented are were way ahead of its time. The concepts of consumerism dominating society is something that rings true today, which is pretty scary. I see this film was an unintentional precursor to Blade Runner, a sort of pre-cyber punk.
