Review of THX 1138 (1971) by Igor M — 16 Apr 2011
Great movie, i'd say un-expected from George Lucas. Critical, maybe catastrophic, but still very actual, this script can be placed somewhere between Truffaut's "Farenheit 911" and Kubrik's "2001, A space odissey", or Orwell's "1984".
I've really liked it, and I think that this is the kind of cinema on which the industry should invest more money to come out from a cultural slowness that is in my opinion affecting the cinema production at this point in time.
