THX 1138 looks like a dull combination of The Island and Pirates of The Caribbean 3... Obviously Lucas considered the film being more intelligent if he uses an unreasonable amount of numbers, which are of no use for the (lacking) story.
Duvall's performance (like always) is good, though.
