The level of deprivation & manipulation of mankind in THX1138 is a scary thing to behold. Lesser films than this have been hailed as progressive & groundbreaking. George Lucas has pushed the boundaries of safe satire deep into the danger zone.
The results are unnerving, chilling & tremendous.
