George Lucas is able to show all his potential in this debut.
The movie keeps a constant dystopia atmosphere that blends perfectly with the musical score and makes it all in all very believable, successfully immersing the viewer into a future 'not too far'.
The camera angles and the lighting help the pace and the more or less slow pace is not at all a problem.
The final part of the movie is incredibly crafted with enough action to fill in for the whole movie.
All in all a must for sci-fi classic lovers.
