Watchable enough as a Sunday afternoon movie, feels like pretty much a throwaway entry in the back catalogue of Eastwood and Bridges though. Seems to have grown in stature amongst critics but you kind of feel that's just because everyone is desperately trying to justify Cimino's career.
He made one incredible movie but that was it! Move on!
