Review of Thunderball (1965) by Ricardo V — 28 Nov 2008
I'ts sean connery as bond, it cannot be that bad. it can only be that good. this film is much better than I previously remember. this might be due to the amazing blu ray transfer, but the story works well.
I feels much more concrete and solid than 'u only live twice' this film works because connery is so damn awesome as bond. the action sequences work well considering this was made in the 60's.
the bond girls are gorgious, the only part I felt dragged was the underwater sequences because it lacks the sense of excitement due to the slow movements of the divers, but it's only a small section of the film near the end.
otherwise this is a great film.
