The enemy organisation S.P.E.C.T.R.E. is going broke, so they hijack a Vulcan Bomber plane and use the warheads on board as a way to threaten the world if a ransom is not paid. MI6 sends in James Bond (Sean Connery) to investigate and prevent the disaster from happening.
Also stars Adolfo Celi, Claudine Auger, Rick Van Nutter, Luciana Paluzzi, Martine Beswick, Lois Maxwell, Bernard Lee and Desmond Llewelyn.
