Review of Thunderball (1965) by Martin F — 05 Jul 2009
One of my personal favorites made more so by 2 of the most beautiful women in a Bond movie, Luciana Paluzzi and Claudine Auger.
A good plot with some twists make for a fast paced adventure. Lots of underwater scenes with a huge battle at the end.
Its a return to SPECTRE with Adolfo Celi as the white-suit eye-patch wearing Number 2, Emilio Largo. As with most of the 60's Bond movies this one hinges on some nuclear device, in this case 2 stolen nuclear warheads. What follows is fairly standard spy fair but it is well done and acted making for a fun action movie.
