The movie is wrapped up too neatly, as if Mike Mills wanted to walk into each and every viewer's living room and say "here is my cheesy moral. Here is what I want you to get out of this. Thanks, bye now!," but didn't have the time to do it individually.
This ruins the movie far more than Keanu's Shatner-esque acting.
