Review of Thumbsucker (2005) by Tom J — 23 Jan 2008
The metaphoric representation and characterization of the main character is visibly undeniable. Following the life of a self-conscious teenager handling contemporary societal issues with influence of peers, drugs, self-esteem, and adults. Acting is superb for most part, however the abrupt transformation in Justin's character may stilt the enjoyment of the movie.
Entertaining and a movie worth watching, nonetheless.
