Review of Thumbsucker (2005) by Ben P — 03 Feb 2009
An engrossing little comedy with a coming of age theme, that does not veer into the realm of cliches by keeping the viewer entertained with a quirky story backed by eccentric characters. The performances by the cast were strong all-around, which is quite a surprise, since this cast even included Keanu Reeves.
It's a film that seeks to remind the viewer that we need embrace ourselves for who we are; embarrassing quirks and all.
