Review of Throw Momma from the Train (1987) by Ben R — 16 Mar 2008
Updating of Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train" with the tone shifted to the comedic. DeVito and Crystal are both a blast at doing what they do and the film is an entertaining and humorous time passer, but let's be honest.
..it's not great. Anne Ramsey, however, creates an unforgettable, nearly iconic, character out of DeVito's overbearing mother. You'll want her dead, too.
