Review of Throw Momma from the Train (1987) by Julia M — 08 Apr 2008
If your ever a writer, you will understand ther frustration of having to try to write a good story with good character development and story line. Billy crystal plays a frstrated english professor while trying to write his book, trying to deal with his ex-wife stealing his story and making it her own best seller and trying desperatly to help his students in the class with having a nervous break down. Danny devito plays a loner who cant stand living with his over bearing mother and with no friends slowly gets into bill crystal's life. But when billy crystal's ex wife is murdered by danny devito, Billy crystal realizes that he is the main suspect and two has a dellusional writer who for some reason took his adice of offing his wife to heart and thirdly relunctly agrees to kill his pupil's mother or else his pupil will go to the police and rat him out.
This is a very funny film with moments of sheer brilliance and the two leads are very good.
Worth watching.
