Review of Throw Momma from the Train (1987) by Christie — 21 Jul 2008
Funny, funny, funny. Devito almost steals the show, but Crystal's angst filled character is not to be underestimated. Anne Ramsey's Mrs. Lift was the true masterpiece of acting in this, however.
A fun roller coaster ride of a film that was also a veiled tribute to the later work of Hitchcock. but it was also an odd nod to the old "buddy films". Just think "Lewis and Martin", but with one of them wanted by the police.
