Review of Throw Away Your Books, Rally in the Streets (1971) by Tsubaki S — 20 Aug 2008
Excellent. Shuji Terayama is a complete master when it comes to color. An amazing film about a dysfunctional family dealing with elements of alienation and social activism. The whole segment about the little girl and her rabbit was truly haunting.
This is probably the best film I have ever seen.
