Review of Throne of Blood (1957) by Rowan S — 15 Nov 2007
My problem with this compared to other Kurosawa is that you don't feel as connected to the Macbeth character as you do to characters in other Kurosawa movies. On the other hand, Mifune's acting is brilliant, and the cinematography (especially some of the shots of the fog) are amazing.
