Review of Throne of Blood (1957) by Brandon R — 06 Oct 2009
Throne of Blood was my first Kurosawa film. I enjoyed many of its aspects, but some irked me. There are sequences that don't seem relevant and are omission worthy. Another feature that bothered me was that certain key sections were very anticlimactic.
I don't know if that's Kurosawa's style, but it didn't feel right.
