Review of Three O'Clock High (1987) by Thomas W — 29 Jun 2004
This movie was recomended to me by a good friend of mine. Its one that I had never even heard of untill he mentioned it actually. So I put it on my Netflix queue and tonight I finally had time to sit down and watch it.
The Story-The Story was interesting enough. And I enjoyed it, but it just didn't clique with me like some other films. The story wasn't bad by any means, but I didn't think it was amazing either.
The Character's-I did like Jerry. I thought his character was interesting enough, but the rest of the character's felt like they were never really fleshed out much beyond there breif interactions with Jerry. Buddy was probably the exception to that, but even with his character I felt it could have been added to.
Overall-Overall 3 O'clock High was an interesting enough movie. A good flick to rent and check out, but nothing that I would buy. It has some moments of greatness, but it falls a little short of taking that next lvl to greatness that films like. Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science did.
