Three O?clock High (1987) ? ?I guess I should have known from the beginning, it was going to be one of those days.? ? Jerry Mitchell.

It?s a rough start for Jerry Mitchell (Casey Siemaszko) on the first day of his senior year at Weaver High when he realizes he's overslept, and it only gets worse. By 9:00 a.m., he?s crossed paths with Buddy Revell (Richard Tyson), a frightening continuation student with a reputation for mayhem - a ?touch freak? that gets angry anytime someone makes contact with him. Jerry makes the mistake of a friendly gesture, which sets up a fight between the mild-mannered nerd and the student-from-hell at 3:00 p.m. in the school parking lot. In the meantime, the hottest chick in the school has got wind of the fight and shows up, with her two bitch friends, to add the requisite sexual tension (give me a break). Jerry, his sister, and his friends spend the next six hours trying to find a way out of the fight.

The film has the look and feel of a church-potluck-indigestion-induced-nightmare, but there were a couple of pretty good laughs. There was a down side to the script: twice, dialogue began with the phrase ?If you are a fag?? I know, it was 1987, and I?m trying to maintain historical perspective, but it still irked me.
