Review of Three Monkeys (2008) by Daisy M — 24 Mar 2010
2008 Cannes Best Director... It was uncomfortable to watch this slow disintegration of a family. A wealthy man kills a pedestrian and pays his driver to take the blame. It's bleak and the pace too slow at times.
But worth perservering to see the story come full circle. With familiar images of Istanbul landscapes from an unfamiliar dark perspective.
