Review of Three Kings (1999) by Imran H — 14 Oct 2008
Powerful narrative about the true stories of the first Gulf War. It's funny watching it in the midst of "Gulf War: The Sequel" but it gives a sense of perspective to the issue and humanizes the people involved.
The performances were great, and the futility and desperation felt was tangible and real. Stylistically, it hits the mark with stunning visuals and juxtapositions of contrast.
