Unique story, depth of characters, presents the political situation without leaning to the left or right, and with some funny moments on top of it all. A group of American soldiers during the first Gulf War go AWOL to find gold, only to find themselves entangled in a complex situation of refugees seeking to leave Iraq to avoid slaughter, cease fire agreement politics, and tough choices to make.
