Review of Three Days of the Condor (1975) by Nelson P — 26 Nov 2010
Without a doubt Sydney Pollack's greatest collaboration with Robert Redford and one of my favorite movies. This has some of the best tension and build up of any spy thriller and does not disappoint in the reveal at the end.
The acting is flawless with Redford and Faye Dunaway as the leads and Max Von Sydow as quite possibly the most ruthless villain of all time.I really enjoyed the slow eerie pace of the movie, with Max Von Sydow slowing stalking and killing his way up the food chain.
It could have been a very boring and slow movie, but Condor(Redford) always keeps the story moving, always discovering new elements to the conspiracy that make the story more elaborate and interesting.
