(1975) Three Days Of The Condor.
THRILLER.
When I first watched this movie it was like reliving a very bad dream. Adapted from the novel by James Grady and directed by Sydney Pollack the fourth of six movies he made with Robert Redford. Redford plays Joseph Turner an average guy who works as a regular worker for some secretive CIA headquarters, only to find out later after he was coming back to bring food for his fellow employees had already been killed with the star barely escaping from the killers. Immediately, viewers had already guessed that it has something to do with the CIA except that we don't know why nor know who ordered this execution which they're probably aren't any surprises. Made during the Nixon era and during "All The President's Men" involving the possibilities of what some gov't agencies are capable of doing. And my paranoia is kept in check.
3 out of 4 stars.
