Review of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) by Noah H — 17 Jun 2018
This movie was an absolute joy to watch. It was a great, inspiring story that definitely makes you think about some of the problems we have in our world. The writing was brilliantly done, you could absolutely feel the characters, which made the movie so much realer.
The music was absolutely fantastic and really helped to get chills during some of the intense scenes.
The acting was great by all three of the main actors, whilst only two to them (Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell) won an OSCAR for their part. Although I liked Woody Harrelson as well of course there can be only one winner in the category "Best actor in a supporting role" and in that case Sam Rockwell was definitely the better choice. Rockwell amazingly brought a character to love, who you didn't like in the first few minutes, but absolutely did near the end.
It is a film, which I can really recommend watching, if you are a fan of good movies.
