I went into this movie knowing absolutely nothing about it. After leaving this movie I can honestly say that for the performances alone, this film is definitely worth watching! The dialogue was extremely realistic and touched upon many controversial issues.
Nevertheless the film didn't need to rely on social commentary to move the plot forward! The story was incredible, the dark humour was hilarious at times and I must highlight the performances of both Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell as they were incredible.
The reason I cannot give this film 5 stars was due to, in my opinion, the ending which seemed to leave on an unfinished tone. Nevertheless, spectacular film with stunning performances.
