Review of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) by Clare Y — 03 Feb 2018
Love love love. A first some of the characters and their actions/reactions seemed a bit farcical and over-dramatic but the film superbly reigns it in at the last moment by following it up with extremely human and raw moments.
The tidal wave of emotions the film serves up is astounding and the no-fuss attitudes of the storyline and characters is highly appreciated and a breath of fresh air from the melodrama (none of those "you just don't understand" phrases and contrived and unnecessary arguments/yelling matches) that Hollywood keeps dishing out.
