What makes this film so good is it offers redemption to antagonists and even showcases the evil in its protagonist. Somewhat making its characters real. Coz thats we're all our. In essence, there's no hero or villain, just people dealing with life and overcoming it.
As for the story itself, it follows a non-linear approach, it doesn't dwell in the primary conflict of finding the killer, but showcases the character's reaction in dealing with the objective.
This is my bet to the Oscars. Second is Get Out.
