I'm not the biggest Martin McDonagh fan (I thought In Bruges was one of the worst movies I've ever finished watching) so I was shocked by how good Three Billboards was. Extremely entertaining and also very, darkly funny.
And, of course, Frances McDormand's towering performance is something to be savored too.
